There will be a pizza lunch this Friday, January 22nd in Mr. Denysiuk's room at lunch. Bring your appetite!

Christmas Evening Out

On Wednesday, December 16, 2009 Kildonan East Collegiate international students will have the opportunity to ice skate at the Forks and have dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant. Skating will take place from 5:00pm - 6:15pm and dinner will start at 6:30pm. You will have the choice of 7 menu items for only $20.00. Remember to pay Ms. Nelia by December 11, 2009.

Farewell Ellen!

Bring in $4.00 on Friday, November 27 for a pizza lunch. We will say farewell to Ellen and wish her a happy flight home.

Ski Asessippi!

On January 7 and 8, 2010 all international students will have the opportunity ski and spend 1 night at the Ski Area and Resort in Russell, MB. There are only 80 seats available! The Board Office will start collecting money on November 19, 2009 (FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!). Check with your school for details.

Oak Hammock Marsh

On December 11, 2009 all international students will have the opportunity to attend Oak Hammock Marsh. Each student will have the opportunity to participate in each of the following activities:

• snowshoeing
• Marsh Trail
• Ecology Games
• Walk Through the Oak Hammock Marsh Exhibit
• Face Painting
• Pizza Lunch - pizza potato chips and drink

Registration deadline for participants by November 25, 2009. Cost is $20.00 per student!

November 6th Field Trip!

On Friday November 6th 2009, our international students will be attending a morning field trip to the Royal Canadian Mint, followed up with an afternoon of 10 pin bowling at Chateau Bowling Lanes.

Winnipeg Blue Bomber Game

With an overall record of 6 - 9, the Blue Bombers remain in a position where the East position playoff race is as close as it can be. Game time 1:30pm on Saturday, October 24. Arrive half an hour before the game to find your seats. Dress warm!
